Cruising Partners Survival Kit (Theory and Practical)

Do you go cruising with your partner? Do you know what to do if your partner is injured, incapacitated or worse and how to ensure both of you survive the emergency?

Well if you don’t this workshop is for you. It will give you some basic skills to help you help your partner and save yourself and includes information on:

  • Calling for assistance on a VHF Radio.
  • Basic vessel operations (Including dropping the anchor)
  • Use of safety equipment including flares
  • Basic First Aid Response
  • Emergency response including fire and person overboard

Workshop Location:

  • Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron – 578 Royal Esplanade, Manly – 4179

Workshop Structure:

  • The workshops will delivered over two evenings (Theory) and one full week-end day (Practical)

Workshop Cost:

  • $400 per person
